Bridget, I do have a twitter widget on my blog but I'm still not sure if followers are coming for there or any number of places they might find me. Not that it matters, its more just my curiosity.

I also have become much more selective of who I follow.

Monica I added you as a twitter buddy.

Jennifer do you have your twitter profile on your blog? I use a widget from lijit.com to showcase my social membership all over the web. I find that I get a lot of my twitter buddies from that application. I think buddies also come from other twitter followers, people go through who their friends are following and if the person looks interesting adds them.

I used to follow everyone who followed me, but now I check them out to make sure they aren't spamming and that they have interesting tweets.

I went to a great Bonita Chamber event last night. I made about 10 contacts, which I am following up with today. Business is looking good….

Holly ~ I'm new to Twitter as well, it's not as difficult as it seems, I was a bit overwhelmed by all the "cutesy terms", but I went to the FAQ page on Twitter and I feel a little better, still not totally comfortable, but I'm getting there.
