Hi again. I normally don't put every post in here for help, but this is one I spent a lot of time on. Top 12 highlights from the Golden Globe awards. I would love anything, even just a SU would be great. Thanks

Heather, I had a great time twittering the event. Made it even more fun.

Hey Jen, I hit you on SU, Reddit, and Digg.

Hi all. I have a new post. Could you stumble and reddit it if you can. I don't care as much about the rest. Thanks.

If any of you don't belong to reddit you really should join. It is the easiest site to use and can sometimes bring lots of traffic.

Heather Digg gives a submission 24 hours to get popular, after 24 hours the submission is taken off of their upcoming pages (if it made it there) and is essentially shelved. You can still get traffic and diggs after 24 hours but they want the most current "news" so they move old stories aside so new ones can rise, there are submissions that have made it to their front page after 24 hours but it is a rarity.

100 diggs, nicely done Donna.

So what does the 24-hour mark mean in Digg? I'm still so new to all of this. I get excited over a lot of attention, but I have no idea how to even value it, if that makes sense.

As far as DivineCaroline goes, what's funny is that it hasn't gotten a single response as far as the built-in rating on the site. Each article approved for publication starts with a rating of 1 (meaning 1 person liked the article) and then the author can vote for once. And that's where it sits--at 2.

Wait until they are doing high school math and it looks like greek to you. And I was an A student in Math. You just don't retain it.

Btw, my son is in kindergarten and I am a very hands on mother. I will always be! I supplement my son's education. I have a B.S. in Education (certified to teach K-4) and I don't rely on his teacher to be his primary educator. I feel his teachers can offer him things that I can't, and I can teach him things above and beyond what he may learn in school. Hopefully he will get the best of both worlds. I'm sure as my son gets older isn't going to like it, though.

What I'm saying is I agree with you! :)

Heather it has 90 now. It still has 7 hours left before the 24 hr. mark so it will get a few more? I wonder how much traffic DivineCaroline is getting from it?

Sorry it took so long, I took a night off from the computer. I stumbled and dugg it and submitted it to reddit and delicious. Great article!

Well, Donna, I'm not sure how we managed it but so far this morning I've got 86 Diggs on my article "Do You Have Any Homework?"!

Technically, the article is pretty different than the blog I wrote months ago. Same elements, but I cleaned it up quite a bit (in my opinion). The title is the same, and that's perhaps something I should have considered. Another lesson learned, although I may have gotten away with the risks this time around.

I'm also enjoying the Digg comments on the article.
