If anyone can do anything with this, even if just a twitter, that would be great. Thanks http://connectwithyourteens.blogspot.com/2009/01/lost-at-paley-center-panel-screenings.html

Thanks Bridget. I knew that was the case in SU, but I wasn't sure about the others. Maybe you should lay off SU, digg and redditing my posts for a little while. Thanks for the advice.

Jen, I tweeted, prop'd, reddit'd, Clip'd it on Soc Median, Mixx'd, and kirtsy'd.

I don't have tell you Jen because you are a social animal :-). But for anyone else that is curious Digg, SU, and even Reddit are tricky. Your votes count less and less the more you vote on a specific website. Where you vote it from counts also. If you send it, shout it, or share it it can bring down the value of the vote especially if the voter regularly votes for that site. If the vote is from the site itself it is best.

Not sure what to do now if I have a new post. It has been submitted everywhere, could just use votes anywhere and maybe a RT. Should I still leave my link here as usual?

Heather and Bridget, don't stumble this one. It would probably be good to not have you two stumble so often. Everything else is fine. I don't think any other social bookmark system looks at things as strickly as SU.

Thanks all.

Adrienne, some networks you might want to start with are Mixx, Reddit, Propeller, and Twitter.

I think everyone should be on Twitter, it is easy, quick, and if done properly can create a great ROT (return on time).

Mixx, I love the groups and categories. The users are open to blog content, they aren't as combative, and it creates great backlinks. Propeller would fit into this category as well.

Reddit, can be a bit harsh at times but is easier than Digg, has more categories so you can target the less combative crew, and can give great traffic if you hit their front page.

I started a discussion labeled WheRe YoU At GiRL post your accounts and user names in there so the group knows where to connect with you at.

Then start sharing, if you have a post, article, or website that you think is particularly good post a link here with the social sites that it is on our that you would like it on and the group will take of the rest. Look through the rest of the comments on the wall to see who needs help that day and help a sister out if you are so inclined.

Post any questions you have here in the group.

I never thought you could get onto the front page of digg unless you are part of the digg in crowd. But now i see, sex is the answer. I'm sure I can find a way to write about teens and sex that will get them digging. may lose some regular readers though :)

Heather your article hit the front page of Digg... so trust me you just brought DivineCaroline tons of traffic, and your writing and name to the forefront. Thank you for writing such a great article and giving me the pleasure of submitting it (it gave me another pop)!

As for the comments - on Digg if you hit the front page the comments can be crazy... from the seriously intellectual, make you think comments to the most asinine, childish and downright stupid. So don't put too much into the comments. Just relish in the fact that lots of people read something YOU wrote!

I have to share with y'all that the comments on the Digg page for my article are both hysterical and slightly disturbing. I'm guessing this comes with the territory, especially when teasing with the word "porn", but my goodness!

Good news is that it has over 158 diggs at present and over 30 comments. And climbing by the hour.

Thanks for your help! I can take the bashing. (I think, lol)
