Thank God I have a day job that allows for a lot of internet time, lol.

Thanks for the Mixxes! I'm responding to everything sent my way (from Bridget, too). I appreciate having them pushed to me until I get better about keeping my finger on each of them.

Heather, I just got your follow request and I clicked to follow you. I'm not sure if you got the email for the post I just mixxed, depending on when you started following me. I mixed the 3 articles I saw on your page.

You have to do it when you submit your post. After you submit it, a screen comes up that says you can do more, such as add to groups, etc. One of the choices is share. If you click share, all of the people that are your friends or are following you will come up in a box. I just click all ( you can pick and choose) and it sends them an email.

My mixx profile is here.

I've sent you a follow request, Jennifer. How do you share on Mixx? I see where I can go look at activity, but is there a way to directly send a link, like on stumble and digg?

I have a new post. Since we didn't set up anything yet in discussions, could you all do whatever you have accounts in to it, stumble, digg , reddit, mixx, twitter, etc. I will probably submit it first to some or most of them. Thanks

My mixx user name is http://www.mixx.com/users/jwag57

We should just follow each other on mixx. Every time I add a post to mixx, I share it with all my followers.

I actually have been getting involved with it tonight... I visited my blog catalog page and started scouring the groups there and found one for Mixx. That helped me to feel my way around, and I've got some friend requests in there.

I've submitted a couple of my older links, but left my "...Cosmo" blog for you to submit. I don't really know why, other than you said you would be. I guess I figure it would look good for someone else to flag my pages. Is my newbie showing?? ;-)

So shall we start a discussion thread here every day with links (ours and others we find) that we'd like promoted? Or just use the comments?

Jen, I am oh so sorry I just realized that the links are dead unless you add the hyperlink. I haven't even paid attention to that. Thanks for the heads up!

Heather - I am happy to hear that you are finding the GSWSN helpful! There are some smart ladies on this site.

If you are on Mixx let me know what your user name is I am here: http://www.mixx.com/users/getsmartgal.

One of the best things to do is go to users accounts that are part of a lot of communities and groups and start joining them. Some of the groups on my profile that would be good for you are the blogging/blog/blogger groups, women groups, say anything, and find some humor and writing groups. Let's start there then I will walk you through the rest.

Thanks, Bridget. I'm currently working on a schedule/structured list, trying to keep all this straight. Whew.

I think I'm actually signed up at Mixx, but if not I will take your advice and jump in there.

I signed up at Cre8Buzz the other night, established my profile and such only to discover that it's becoming a ghost town. The top ranked Buzzers have been MIA for months, so I'm not sure how anyone could possibly compete for ranking against members who aren't there.

Anyway, I'm very grateful for all the help and guidance you're providing. I feel like the GSW network is the most valuable tool I've come across to date.

P.S. Good suggestion, Jennifer. Will do in the future!

One request that I have is that everyone use the link button for their links so that we can just click on them instead of having to copy and paste. Thanks.
