For Donna Chaffins and Name Your PC Day if you named your pc what would its name be?

My PC is Roxie, my old Dell laptop was Rocky it was a big behemoth Grey laptop that though not the sharpest pc out there slugged it out till the very end. My new laptop is a little white sleek HP that packs a bigger punch then good old Rocky but she still rocks it…..so Roxie.

I'm going to name my laptop "Little Red". I have a small Dell laptop inspiron 1420 that came in a variety of colors. I was tempted to get it in pink but my teenage son said that was too girly and talked me out of it. I wanted something fun and bright so I chose red with a matching red mouse and I love it. It is small and light enough to carry around, so "Little Red" is the perfect name for it.

My present Sally has been a cool HP laptop in the last 11months. Sometimes its naughty but what do you expect from a laptop that stays 24/7 working. My last laptop Teddy, was a Dell. I still owe Teddy a lot apology. I constantly rocked the life out of the battery watching "24" and Desperate Housewives for hours until it gave up the ghost. My "Junky" desktop, is a warehouse for most of my stuff. I still find it difficult to let go of some unnecessary data. But honestly I'm looking forward to getting Nikky, a cute Gateway convertible laptop. Unfortunately, Gateway made it impossible for me to get her out of the US last year. Sad!... Take a look at Niky below.

Paulette I am liking Nikky a lot, if I could get her in another color she could really get me thinking about a second laptop. I may need to really at look at that!

My PC is Tink, named after my wonderful yorkie Mr. Tinker. All 7 pounds of Mr. T is there waiting for me each day to lavish happiness on me and joy at seeing me everytime I enter a room. I feel that way about my PC because every morning there are energizing emails of inspiration and motivation in my "You've Got Mail" Box.
I smile as I read the Tip of the Day and know I can LICK the world by being a friend to those I meet...Just as Mr. Tinker lights up my life. So it's TINK!!!

I've never actually thought of a name for my pc, but now that I think about it, I'll name my pc "Slacker". Not a very positive name, I know, but that's what it gets from slacking on the job. More often than not, it will shut itself off in the middle of my working, or the screen will decide to go black...it's a really good time.
So, here we are, Slacker and I...blogging away :)

My PC is named Dharma; because it really is ditzy and peppy (at times) - just like the character from "Dharma & Greg". It has a mind of it's own and it does "march to the beat of a different drum". My Mac is named Bruce; because it’s strong, creative and makes me feel secure. I haven’t named my laptop yet, but if I were to give it a name, it probably would be Willow; just because I really like the name.

Hey Ladies!

I had to think about this for a while, I've never named my computer. So I shut my eyes and visualized my little MacBook... Well, when I think of my computer, the word omnipotent comes to mind and a portal to everywhere. My husband says that he's jealous of my laptop, that I spend more time with it than him. So "Mr. OmniMac" it is. Maybe I'll make him a nice nametag...
This was fun! I can't wait to read all the other names and stories behind them!
